SPECIAL EVENT SCHEDULE 2011-2012
Saturday, November 12th A field trip to Newport, Rhode Island We will leave Orleans from Skaket Corners at 8 AM to arrive in Newport at 10 AM. (We can meet others along the way up Route 6.) After a snack, we will visit Ft. Adams and/or Eisenhower Summer House (both on the water). Then on to the International Yacht Restoration School. (This is a fantastic site but, since it is a school, we will not find out until the Tuesday prior to our trip as to whether or not they will be open.) After lunch at the Atlantic Beach Club, we will then visit the historic area of Newport. Departure time back home to be determined by those attending the field trip.
