EXHIBITIONS May 2013 Spring Show at Orleans Camera and Video The Viewfinders will be having a spring show at the Gallery in Orleans Camera in the month of May. Members may enter up to two images of their choosing. In-take of prints will be on Wednesday, May 1, from 10:00 am-noon. Further details to be announced. June 2013 Exhibit at Brewster Ladies’ Library Cape Cod Viewfinders Camera Club members will exhibit their work. The exhibit will run through June and be open to the public during normal library business hours. Below are links to entry forms for this exhibit: February 2013 Annual Juried Photography Contest Our 16th annual juried photographic print contest was on display throughout the month of February in the prestigious Creative Arts Center, located at 154 Crowell Road in Chatham. The exhibit included 178 entries from 86 non-club members, representing 17 Cape locations and 7 off-Cape locations. Michael Roman, MNEC, judged the exhibit. He is a founder, past president, and current member of the Boston West Photographic Society. He has judged Photo competitions for many years locally, nationally, and in international salons. A Certified Professional Photographer, Michael runs a full time portrait, wedding, and event studio. He has earned medals and various Judge’s Choice awards for Female and Child Portraits, as well as Still Life, Nature, and Abstract images. He also teaches photography both professionally and at camera clubs. A reception was held on Sunday, February 3rd, from 3 – 5 p.m. at The Creative Arts Center in Chatham when cash prizes and ribbons for First, Second, and Third Place winners, as well as ribbons for 15 images earning Honorable Mention, were awarded as follows: 1st Place: Karen McDevitt of Sagamore Beach for “Rings Fountain Run”
