CAPE COD VIEWFINDERS CAMERA CLUB

FALL PHOTOGRAPHIC SHOW

At Orleans Camera

The Club is again invited to present a photographic show at the gallery of Orleans Camera during October 2010. The store is located at Skaket Corners, Orleans, off Rte 6 Exit 12 at the junction of 6A and West Rd.

Every member of the Club is invited - indeed encouraged - to participate! For this show there will be no Categories or Themes. No prizes for best Fall image. No Landscape or Portrait category. No Sports or Nature category. If it has artistic value, it’s welcome whatever the subject! Sunsets are OK, Red Barns are welcome, Grandkids and Babes of both sexes are sought after!

The show will be judged by an experienced professional photographer. This person will be asked to decide the best three images of any kind in the show. Cash prizes will be awarded for these images. In addition, Honorable Mention awards will be made for other images of special merit. The results of the judging will be announced at the Reception planned at the store for 4 pm Saturday 2nd October.

Drop-Off date: At the store, 10:00 am -1:00 pm Thursday, 30 September

Entry Fee: $6.00 per print (cash or check) at drop-off. The entry fee will be returned if the work is not hung for any reason.

Commission: Orleans camera will receive a 20% commission on all sales.

Submissions:

All work must be well presented and ready for hanging. If your work is larger than 30” on any side please see Questions below.
Work must be labeled with Title, Artist’s Name, Telephone Number and Price (if for sale). If you enter more than one piece, indicate each piece’s priority for hanging with 1 or 2 or 3. Work labeled with 1 or 2 will be hung before 3 in the event there is no room for all entries.
Entry forms. This page, plus entry forms will be available at our meetings. Please fill-in these forms and bring to the drop-off as one piece. Do not separate the 3 forms. Do not attach them to your work. Your attention to this will help expedite your entry!
