October 2010 Labels for Print Competitions When members enter a print into club competitions, they need to fill out a
print label that should be affixed to the lower right back of the print. (Note: Small scoring labels no longer needed because you will be submitting the information one week in advance.) The label contains the basic information about the photographer, the entry class, and the category of the photograph. The club keeps a supply of these labels for members to use. Alternatively, members may download the labels and print them out themselves onto Avery label template 5164 or the equivalent. Points Points are the scores that a judge gives for a digital image or print. They will be posted here after each competition. Points are assigned in the range of 5-15. At the end-of-the-year banquet, 1st, 2nd, and 3rd Place awards will be given for the highest actual point totals by category, for the highest overall points, and for the highest ribbon point totals in that competition year.
